Kitty ying yang…

Just a quick snapshot of 2 of the coolest cats taking a nap. (Ichabod (the dark tabby) and Donovan (the light tabby).) I’m really missing Ichabod, and I wonder if Donovan misses his best bud too…  I think I may have posted this photo before, but it is one of my favorites, so enjoy! 🙂

Two Years Ago Today…

Two Years Ago Today...

Wow, time has flown! Lucy is a crazy 2 year old running around and talking up a storm.. Our new dog, Frankie, has become Lucy’s best beagle friend… but I still can’t stop thinking about my best beagle-mix friend! We said goodbye to Buddy 2 years ago, and it still feels like yesterday. As you can see from these photos, he was the best snuggle Buddy around! (Sometimes I wonder if our cat, Donovan, misses him as much as I do!)

I love you Buddy, and I hope wherever you are there is plenty of sunshine to enjoy and squirrels to chase!

Check it out!!!

I submitted this photo in July’s collaborative project over at Nick Exposed. If you have a minute or two, check out the gallery! It is full of creativity and is a great place to find some inspiration for your next big project 🙂  ENJOY…

1 year ago today…

A year ago today we brought home our beautiful baby girl, Lucy, from the hospital, but at the same time we had to say goodbye to a great friend. Love you Buddy! Miss you everyday…. thinking about you a lot today…

Say Hello to Wishy the Lioness…

Continuing to have little time to get out and take some new photos, so I went back into the vault! I have so many photos that have not been posted or even edited, so I’m taking the time to do that whenever I can.

Frankie waiting for a call…

Enjoying the afternoon sun… Frankie stole Lucy’s smart phone… wonder what call he is waiting for? (corny I know, but it is late and I’m tired, and I love this photo! Love the lighting and his eyes..)

Quotography…#1

“Beauty is a short-lived tyranny.” – Socrates

This is my old man tabby, Ichabod. He is somewhere between 12 and 15 years old (he was a stray so no one knows for sure). To me he is beautiful forever, but now he is starting to show his age. The hair is graying.. his skin is sagging.. he has lost quite a bit of weight.. so this once beautiful cat who ran the house, has started to take a step down in the pecking order around here. Now, our younger/more beautiful cat is large and in charge! This seems to be a common cycle.. in the animal world…

(This photo is part of my submission for a creative collaborative photo project brought to you by Nick Mayo, author of Nick Exposed . Check out his site to see the full gallery of submissions! There are so many great photos to enjoy, so enjoy!)
