Kid’s ferris wheel…
This is the small ferris wheel that Lucy rode on with her Daddy. Up to this point, it is her biggest ride! Prepping her for the big coasters, one ride at a time!

Who needs the sun in a sunset photo? The light alone makes the photo work for me!
Stormy sunsets…
A stormy sunset in Wild Wood Crest, NJ. It was almost monochromatic, which I love just as much as the intense colorful sunsets. Something about this scene makes me think of Quint and Captain Brody taking the Orca out on a fishing trip! Something about the look of the boat.. ahh, one of my favorite movies!

Lucy takes a dip…
Success! Lucy started crawling through the water today. She has been so timid at the beach, until now. Things have just gotten a lot more exhausting at the shore for everyone!

I’m surprised that I haven’t heard this one before! I love this quote. It may become my favorite. You can relate this to any number of things, and in each case, it is 100% true. What does it mean to you?
Highlighted clouds…
Today is gloomy. Lucy and I ran a few quick errands and, luckily, made it home just before the big storm. Thunder and lightening galore! I’m enjoying watching the rain out my back windows, but fingers crossed the day ends with some clouds like these. An exclamation point to the end of the day!
