I found plenty of horseshoe crab shells while walking down the beach, but here I actually found one that was still alive! For some reason, the seagulls chose to let this one live…

Sunrise surprises…
I found a golden clam! Well, not really… it was just lit up by the sunrise.. but it definitely caught my eye!
Calm and peaceful…
While shooting this sunset, I kept hoping that the sun would stay in this position. Who needs a bright hot day? (This particular day the high temperature was in the 100’s!)
Playing in the sun…
This little girl was having a blast during the sunrise.. running around, splashing in the water, picking everything up off the sand… this will be my little Lucy in a few years 🙂
The Sunrise continues….
I was not the only person with a camera on this beach…. As I have said before, this is probably the best reason to be a morning person, actually for me it’s the only reason!

Today was grey and cloudy with ominous skies. Tonight the cloudiness continues, but now we have rain, thunder and lightning to help us sleep. Sweet Dreams everyone…
1 year ago today…
A year ago today we brought home our beautiful baby girl, Lucy, from the hospital, but at the same time we had to say goodbye to a great friend. Love you Buddy! Miss you everyday…. thinking about you a lot today…

This week I’ve been busy, stressed, a bit tired, and gloomy from the rain. Lucy and I have been hanging around the house, so my inspiration right now is my own home decor. Having fun turning everyday items into art!
