One last look at color…
Here in New Jersey, we’re bracing for hurricane Sandy to hit. So far things are quiet, but it soon won’t be! The anticipation is the worst part! Unfortunately, there are still so many beautiful leaves on the trees, that in a couple days will be gone… so here is one last look at some autumn color… stay safe everybody!

Serious Day Farm…
We spent the day at the Happy Day Farm in Manalapan, NJ. The farm is a fun place to spend a warm autumn day! Little Lucy wasn’t always smiling. She continued with her serious and thoughtful faces! Today was just not the best farm day for her… everyday is a new adventure into the moods of Lucy!
Roses are blooming early around here..
Normally, I don’t see this until we are part of the way into summer… will have to try to enjoy them while they last!

No further than your own backyard…
Here is the flowering plum tree in the corner of our backyard. I had to take advantage of its blooming flowers and photograph it. When I was looking at the tree, what I found most interesting is how it stood out from the flowering trees and bushes behind it. Keep an eye out for more shots of this beautiful tree…. Enjoy!
