Spring is just about here…

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about spring time and everything that goes along with it! So, I found this butterfly photo to join in the fun! This was actually taken in the summer, but the colors are spring to me… taken while walking through sand dunes in Wild Wood, NJ. Can’t wait for Memorial Day weekend, first trip to the shore!

Sea Urchin Friends…

Sea urchins on the beach in Long Boat Key, Fl. 2 years ago in February, the beach was covered with these guys. I managed to bring 1 shell home in tact! They were in beautiful colors of reds oranges and purples. These 2 looked like a parent and child pair 🙂

Take a walk on the beach….

One of my favorite past times is walking on a beach. Any beach will do!  In LBK, walk at low tide and you’ll find LOTS of shells, sand dollars and random little creatures… oh and depending on when you are there, you will also find ME!

Bright Idea….

A random bright cloud opposite the sunset at Long Boat Key… so many amazing colors in every direction! I always thought this made Dave look like he had the brightest idea ever!

Fishing at sunset…

I wasn’t fishing, but the silhouette in this photo was.. I love the colors in this sunset. I didn’t do any digital darkroom processing, cause whether it needs it or not, I like it just the way it is! Enjoy!

The Last fall photo for a little while…

While I love looking at fall colors and remembering hiking through this park, I think I’ll start looking forward to spring and summer. Since we had to turn the clocks ahead this weekend, its time to look ahead to warmer temperatures, the beach, vacations, amusement parks, and all the fun times that are on the horizon!

All in the Family….

Today, I want to share a photo that my father took on a trip to the Grand Canyon in October 2005. This is a view from the North rim (east end) of the canyon. I love this photo. The colors and detail are beautiful, the depth of field is awesome! My parents keep taking the most amazing trips, to places that I hope to one day go, and Dad keeps coming home with wonderful photos! Photos worthy of framing and definitely worthy of blogging!
