Wow, that’s beautiful! How did you manage to get the rose appear to be in such bright light, but the leaves appear to be so dark?? My dad would have loved the composition of this photo. Good work.
Thank you! I took it early in the evening, very low lighting, and used my on camera flash to light up the subject. Then I did a little processing on the computer to boost the contrast of the photo, that made the background and the leaves appear much darker.
